Simon Scotting has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Based in Somerset, he spent several years as a practising arborist, before becoming an approved Lantra Awards freelance instructor for ground based and aerial chainsaw operations and an instructor and assessor for City & Guilds NPTC ground based and aerial chainsaw operations.
Today, he provides training for people and organisations responsible for tree safety inspections and management and specialises in tree risk management advice to a range of private clients and organisations.
